Green Malachite Gemstone Copper Pendant

This hand-crafted pendant is made from a Green Malachite Gemstone wrapped in solid copper wire, with 3mm copper accent beads.

Malachite is a green gemstone with a marble-like appearance, featuring a unique banded pattern and rich coloration in shades of green. In medieval through Victorian times, it was common to hang small pieces of malachite from baby cribs and children's beds to keep evil at bay and ensure peaceful sleep. Malachite is often called the "stone of transformation" because it helps reveal and heal emotional pain by absorbing it into itself, making it the essence of joy.

Please note that copper naturally darkens with age, but it can be cleaned using a jewelry polishing cloth, which is included. We have also provided a photo that shows the back of the pendant and one that displays the pendant next to a ruler for size comparison.
